Gardner Denver, Inc. (NYSE: GDI) announced today that it has acquired ILMVAC GmbH, located in Ilmenau, Germany. ILMVAC, a leading European provider of vacuum pumps, systems and accessories for research and development laboratories and industrial applications, generated sales of €9.4 million, or approximately $11.6 million, in the year ended December 31, 2009.
Gardner Denver, Inc. announced the consolidation of the North
American manufacturing operations of its compressor and vacuum pumps used in OEM applications into its Monroe, Louisiana facility. Production from the Company’s Sheboygan, Wisconsin operations will be transferred to Louisiana over the next twelve months. The project is expected to be completed by March 31, 2010.
